As general manager of the Elastics Storage Platforms group at HGST, Dave Tang is responsible for leading the engineering and marketing efforts to develop active archive systems and bring them to market. Prior to joining HGST, Mr. Tang served as consultant and chief strategist at Cisco Systems. His career spans over 30 years in information technology where he has served in executive management positions in engineering, sales, marketing, business development and corporate development. Mr. Tang graduated from Stanford University’s Executive Institute program and the University of Delaware’s Electrical Engineering and Physics programs.
