Since 2007, David Entwistle has served as CEO of University of Utah Hospitals & Clinics (UUHC), a health system comprised of 4 hospitals and 10 community clinics.
Entwistle serves on boards and committees of many local and national organizations, including UHC the American Hospital Association (AHA), the American Association of Medical Colleges (AAMC), the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME). He is the past chair of the Utah Hospital Association (UHA) and was appointed by the governor of Utah to the state’s Medicaid Task Force.
Entwistle previously served as Senior Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of the University of Wisconsin Hospital and Clinics and Vice President of Professional Services and Joint Venture Operations at City of Hope National Medical Center. He earned a bachelor’s degree in Health Administration from Arizona State University and completed a postgraduate administrative fellowship at University of Texas M.D. Anderson Cancer Center.
Entwistle has received several awards including the Modern Healthcare “Up and Comers Award”.

With a breadth of health care experience spanning several decades, Wendy Everett, ScD was chosen to oversee the formation of NEHI in 2002 as its first president. Along with NEHI’s founders, Dr. Everett’s vision was to create an independent, research-based organization that convened diverse members of the health care industry to achieve the common goal of addressing the most urgent health care issues.
Under her leadership, this vision has resulted in ground breaking research on medical innovation, patient safety, health care spending and health care information technology, and has influenced significant national policy changes. Dr. Everett works with public and private policymakers to translate NEHI’s research findings into long-term solutions that improve health care quality and lower health care costs.
Previously, Dr. Everett held executive positions at the University of California, San Francisco Medical Center (UCSF) and Brigham and Women’s Hospital in Boston. She has directed national demonstration programs for the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation and the Kaiser Family Foundations. In the mid-1990s, she was Director of the Institute for the Future, leading the Health and Health Care research team and overseeing the creation of ten-year, national forecasts in health and health care.
Dr. Everett is the Vice Chair of the Massachusetts Health Policy Commission, an independent state agency that monitors the reform of the health care delivery and payment systems in Massachusetts. She also serves on the boards of many philanthropic foundations and non-profit organizations.
Dr. Everett earned two bachelor of science degrees and she holds master’s and doctoral degrees in health policy and management from Harvard University.

Dr. Pravene A. Nath is the Chief Information Officer of Stanford Health Care. He leads technology strategy and operations for the health system, which includes acute and ambulatory care facilities and health plans, collectively serving more than one million patients each year. Under Dr. Nath’s leadership, Stanford Health Care has pioneered the development of virtual care and the use of cloud technologies in healthcare. The health system has been recognized with the Hospital & Health Network’s Most Wired Hospital Award, HIMSS Analytics Stage 7 EMR Adoption and Leapfrog Top Hospital honors. Dr. Nath has served in both healthcare IT and clinical leadership positions. He held the role of Chief Medical Information Officer at both Stanford Health Care and NYU Langone Medical Center and has practiced as a member of the teaching faculty at Stanford as well as NYU and Bellevue Hospitals, where he completed his residency training. Dr. Nath received his B.S.E. in biomedical engineering from Duke University and his M.D. and M.S.E. in biomedical engineering from The University of Michigan.

Rishad has earned a BS in Mathematics and Economics from the University of Bombay and an MBA in Marketing and Finance from the Booth School of Business at The University of Chicago.
